Job Description
Purpose
Sovereign Cloud is T-Systems' cloud offering for clients with high sovereignty needs. Clients in regulated sectors such as healthcare and the public sector are put in complete charge of their data – on an open-source platform, hosted in Europe.
As a Product Owner you will be responsible for creating a product vision of developed/ delivered product and align product roadmap to a strategic goals of DTAG or other DTAG companies being assigned to one of the major streams of the Open Sovereign Cloud platform. Product Owner will also be a liason between Customers, Business Owners and Development Team with the aim of creating the appropriate product backlog according to the requirements. Acts as a voice of client for assuring most effective balance between client's requirements and product value. Acts as an ambassador of the product for internal as well as for external business partners.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- together with Product manager define the vision of Software Services (SWS) stream to be provided by Open Sovereign Cloud (OSC)
- act as the intermediate between Product Management and SWS developers’ team & between customer and SWS developers’ team
- oversee the backlog of SWS team and keeps it harmonized with Product management requirements
- ensure SWS activities are in sync with other OSC layers
- define business value of each customer or internal requirement
- clarify and describe the business value to developers and how it fits into overall road map of OSC
- create epics based on the external/internal requirements and ensures the desired user stories are created within the epics in cooperation with architects and tech leads
- assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- manage the development stages so it is ensured that proper planning, development and testing is in place
- evaluate the product/feature/service progress
- steer discussions with relevant suppliers and tracks the progress of outsourced tasks
- posses a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
- steer internal topics within his responsibility, not directly related to PO primary tasks (handling internal topics)
- act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
Qualifications
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
- have experience in ICT System Engineering - 3 years
- OR Project Management – 3 years
- OR IT Business Analyst – 3 years
- OR ICT Delivery Service Management – 3 years
- if you are certified Product Owner
- have general IT Overview - Advanced
- are advanced in Development Lifecycle
- are good in communication, presentation, decision making, negotiation, problem solving,
- have analytical thinking
- have financial skill - Business case and ROI
- have skills in Project management and Agile methodology
- speak English - Upper intermediate (B2/C1)
- German - Advantage - Intermediate (B2)
Other criteria or requirements
- Working with cross functional teams to deliver on a common goal.
- Interpersonal skills and developing relationships with team members and customers
- Defining and building out product roadmap
- This position does not have people management responsibilities

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1600 € /brutto.
