POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Program Manager role with report to the Executive Director of Product - Retail Point of Sale. This Program Manager will work closely with the Director in driving various programs under the segment. This is a critical role that serves as the focal point in driving the business, operations, and engineering deliverables to defined outcome. The position also engages cross functionally with local and global teams to drive and deliver on high priority initiatives related to product strategy, product execution, budgeting, sales, and development.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Build and drive the business operations across various functions of the program to provide a holistic data-driven view to the business which is used to drive tactics and strategy
  • Gleaning insights and creating a correlated talk track using a variety of data sources to understand business operations within segments
  • Use a variety of tools and techniques (Tableau, Salesforce, pivot tables) to visualize data and in which a narrative could be built and supported.
  • Drive strategic programs and initiatives under the product segment, while building long-term relationships across the business and organization
  • Propose solutions and deliver recommendations on budgeting and development programs. Drive the formation of business cases across all programs with associated investments, identifying risks and assumptions.

  • Develop project schedules, identify stakeholder dependencies, and manage risk in delivering programs within discussed timelines across various threads under the program. Drive business coherence across various programs (using scrum of scrums or any preferable techniques)
  • Drive overall program execution unblocking roadblocks, handling issues independently, and ensuring transparent reporting of progress to leadership
  • Drive the governance framework to support communication, risk management and executive dashboard report of the program/project. It is critical to understand and build the necessary KPIs for the dashboards that align with the business outcome
  • Build positive relationships and trust over time through on-time delivery of commitments, high quality, great communication, continuous innovation, and by exceeding expectations
  • Develop scalable tools, processes, and services to optimize performance, while improving execution velocity and efficiency. Bring order and identify what needs to get done in an ambiguous, fluid environment

  • Disrupt the status quo, be willing to try new things and iterate based on feedback

BASIC REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in program management and leading projects

  • Experience managing projects and communicating across teams and levels
  • Experience in the technology industry
  • A great attitude; people like working with you
  • Servant leader mentality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Experience in the Retail industry
  • Experience using the following tools : Tableau, Salesforce, Trello, Smartsheet
