Job Description

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a well-respected, nationally recognized and award-winning public healthcare system is seeking Full-time or Part-time Psychiatrists to join our Psychiatric Emergency Service (PES). CHA is comprised of three Hospital campuses and an integrated network of both primary and specialty outpatient care practices in Cambridge, Somerville and Boston’s Metro North Region, with a fully integrated electronic medical record system (EPIC). The CHA Department of Psychiatry is recognized as a leader in patient care, teaching and research.

In the Psychiatric Emergency Service, physicians provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment of patients presenting to the PES. Act as a medical team leader with responsibility for all clinical care delivered. Provide clinical and administrative supervision for psychiatry residents, fellows, and other trainees on rotation in the PES.

Candidates must be BE or BC in Psychiatry and possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to public health populations.

CHA is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS) and academic appointments are available commensurate with HMS criteria and candidate qualifications.
