About the role:

The Public Relations and Communications Manager is responsible for the development and execution of an annual strategic and integrated plan that is comprised of public relations, social media and marketing communications strategies that support the business objectives, increase awareness and positive perception of the property, the Food and Beverage outlets, Spa, services and personnel, and contribute to driving traffic and revenue. 

The position reports to the Senior Director of Digital Marketing, Public Relations and Communications.  Candidate will be based in Koh Samui.

What you will do:

• Creation of press releases, story starters and bio for the press room.
• Collaborates with the resort operations team to develop unique experiences and local partnerships.
• Media / KOL hosting, from itinerary creation to welcoming/hosting, to departure and follow-up.
• Maintains a monthly reporting tracker of media visits, coverage, pending deliverables.
• Coordinates and generates innovative promotional print and digital collateral in compliance with Four Seasons standards.
• Works closely with the departments to develop promotional and marketing activities and calendars to feed relevant owned communication channels to stimulate revenue opportunities.
• Able to forge alliances and maintain positive cooperative working relationships with other departments.
• Assist with property photo/video shoots and creating content aligned with brand standards.

What you bring:

• Must have existing work authorization to work in the country of Thailand
• Proficient in English communication
• Experiences in similar capacity
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written), a strong sense of quality and a creative mind set
• A self-starter who can multi-task and prioritize
• Experience with graphic design and photography
• Video editing skills are a huge plus
• Ability to work weekends and holidays

Schedule & Hours:

• This is a full-time position
• The working hours will primarily be early morning, days, during weekdays and weekends.
