Purpose

Kueski is looking for a dynamic PR Manager who excels in media pitching earned media coverage and building consumer trust in Kueski. You will position Kueski as the leader in the market by driving awareness trust and engagement through impactful media relations and strategic storytelling. Your strategic mindset creative approach and ability to manage relationships with top-tier media will be key to our success.

Key Responsibilities

• Media Relations & Coverage

• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists editors and influencers at top-tier media outlets.

• Proactively pitch stories to secure high-impact earned media placements that drive trust in Kueski among consumers and merchants.

• Act as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries ensuring a consistent and compelling narrative for Kueski.

• Lead media outreach efforts ensuring Kueski’s leadership and innovation are consistently represented.

• Monitor media coverage and leverage insights to refine strategies ensuring continuous improvement and maximization of visibility.

Strategic PR Leadership

• Develop and implement PR strategies to strengthen Kueski’s reputation.

• Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to align messaging and objectives ensuring PR efforts directly support business goals.

• Provide real-time feedback and direction to the PR agency of record ensuring strategies and media outreach align with Kueski's vision.

Content Creation & Thought Leadership

• Create and edit compelling press releases articles and other communication materials that highlight Kueski’s values innovations and market leadership.

• Develop thought leadership content including interviews and whitepapers that positions Kueski as a trusted voice in financial inclusion and BNPL trends.

Reputation & Crisis Management

• Quickly address and mitigate any negative media coverage protecting the company’s reputation through thoughtful transparent communication.

Event & Sponsorship Activation

• Plan and coordinate high-profile events conferences and sponsorships that position Kueski as a leader in the financial sector.

• Leverage events as platforms to enhance consumer trust and engage with merchants expanding Kueski’s presence in the market.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications Public Relations Marketing or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in PR with a proven track record of securing high-impact media placements.

• Strong media relationships and an established network within the financial fintech and e-commerce industry.

• Experience working in a PR agency is a plus.

• Excellent writing pitching and communication skills with experience creating editorial content and whitepapers.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.

• Leadership and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
