Job Description


  1. Strategic Procurement:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize operational expenses (OPEX) and capital expenses (CAPEX).
    • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with OP budgetary guidelines.
  2. Vendor Management:
    • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best terms for quality, delivery, and cost.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure long-term partnerships.
  3. Contract Management:
    • Draft, review, and finalize procurement contracts, ensuring they comply with legal and company standards.
    • Monitor contract performance and resolve any disputes promptly.
  4. Audit Preparation & Compliance:
    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to prepare necessary documentation as per norms
    • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  5. Management Information Systems (MIS):
    • Develop and manage procurement-related MIS to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Provide data-driven insights and reports for decision-making on monthly basis.
  6. Presentation & Reporting:
    • Prepare procurement performance updates, budget adherence, and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Communicate complex data in a clear, concise manner for stakeholders.
  7. Operational Efficiency:
    • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations through whole year.
  8. Risk Management:
    • Proactively identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor market trends and adjust procurement plans accordingly.
    • Support and development of vendors for sustainability projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in engineering / science / supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.

Additional Information

  • 5-8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharma or packaging industry or FMCG factors.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software of SAP and MIS tools.
  • Knowledge of audit preparation and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Expert in MS office -PPT , Xls and Word preparation.
  • Import sourcing – Freight Forwarding and Custom Clearnce ( Air/ Sea )
  • Knowledge of local taxation and EPCG license .
