Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking for a Production Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct, Responsible for overseeing activities related to the procurement of direct materials, parts, components, and equipment. Directs and coordinates the activities of procurement personnel in accordance with delivery requirements and quality specifications.

What a day at work is like:

• Review of shorts for CTB (Clear to Build).
• Follow up of POs.
• Performs weekly shorts report.
• Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
• Establishes goals and objectives for the purchasing department.
• Develops policies and procedures for the operation of purchasing activities.
• Manage and lead a team of buyers and shippers to meet purchasing and supplier management objectives.
• Interact with purchasing groups to update and maintain company purchasing strategies.
• Implement processes with suppliers to improve on-time delivery and purchase price variation.
• Oversee team in supply chain management to achieve continuous and timely supply of parts and services.
• Prepares, approves and issues purchase orders and change notices through subordinates.
• Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Monitors on-time deliveries from suppliers, stock rotation, MRP execution, purchase price variation, lead time reduction, supplier performance and cost analysis.
• Acts as first point of contact with suppliers and communicates all unresolved issues to the Purchasing Manager.

Experience we are looking to add to our team:

• Completed Engineering or bachelor's degree.
• Advanced English
• With experience in the electronics industry
• Advanced Excel.
• BaaN knowledge
• Knowledge in Agile would be a plus.
• Experience in personnel management.
