Job Description
The QA Analyst is an influential member of the PMO team and will work very closely with application developers, project managers, and product / systems owners.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Analyze requirements and technical specs and transform them into traceable test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Execute manual test cases, logging issues identified with clear instructions for reproduction and the conditions that led to them.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Design the UAT process and help guide participants through the execution of UAT.
- Provide written and verbal communications on metrics and testing progress.
- Help develop and maintain repeatable methods and standards for the entire testing process.
- Work closely with members of the PMO and project teams to ensure QA expectations are defined and delivered on every project.
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
Knowledge:2-4 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst working on enterprise level software development and technology projects. Experience in manual testing (functional, non-functional, and regression testing). Experience with both waterfall and agile software development methodologies as related to testing. QA automation experience and/or knowledge is a plus.
Skills:Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytic, problem solving and organizational skills. Must have a passion for quality and great attention to detail.
Abilities:Able to work independently to manage multiple project QA cycles concurrently. Proficient using and configuring issue-tracking systems. Knowledge of Salesforce a plus.
FLEXIBILITY: We will consider a fully remote placement. If you are a local candidate, we work a hybrid schedule. Two days a week you will work at the office at 121 Free Street and 3 days a week from your home office. We also get to log off from work every Friday at 3:00 pm (provided your work is in good standing). We fully support "work/life" balance.
