JOB PURPOSE:
The Test Automation Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of automated testing frameworks and solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through efficient and effective automated testing processes. The Test Automation Lead will mentor and guide a team of automation engineers, driving continuous improvement in testing practices and tools. Lead should bring hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca tool.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Automation Strategy and Frameworks:
Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
Design and build robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation frameworks.
Identify and recommend automation tools and technologies that meet project requirements.
Test Planning and Execution:
Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to define and execute test automation plans.
Ensure automated tests cover functional, performance, security, and regression testing.
Monitor and maintain the automated test suite to ensure reliability and effectiveness.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of test automation engineers.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the automation testing processes meet quality standards and best practices.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Track and report on key test metrics and automation coverage.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
Communicate automation goals, progress, and results to stakeholders at various levels.
Promote the value of automation across the organization.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in test automation technologies and practices.
Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance automation capabilities.
Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices to integrate automated testing into the development pipeline.
KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

• 7+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
• 3+ years of experience in a lead or management role in test automation.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing test automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools Tricentis Tosca
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and scripting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
• Travel: required
• Job is primarily performed in a standard office environment but working from home an option upon agreement with Manager & McCain Policies
