QA Automation Engineering

Lusha is growing and we are searching for an experienced (Senior) QA Automation Engineer to be part of our Automation team. What will you be doing?

As a QA Automation Engineer you will be responsible for designing. developing and continuously improving our brand new automation framework / infrastructure and using it while executing automated tests for Lusha’s software products. 

You will:

Define test strategy, design test plans, work closely with the development team to understand the product requirements, and implement your tests in JavaScript (TypeScript), and debug and maintain and extend our automation framework in order to support different types of tests while using various technologies like Playwright , Jenkins , Allure Report , MongoDB and many more…

You will be a professional focal point for quality and automation issues, for all other members in the R&D and assist all stakeholders with tests debugging , execution and implementation when needed.

As a Senior QA automation engineer you will assist your team members with code design, best practices, and code reviews.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years with experience in code-based automation development of large-scale backend and frontend systems, including Saas / web-based systems - must
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - advantage
• Experienced with Python / JavaScript / TypeScript / Java (at least one) and well familiar with OO principles - must
• Proven and strong background in different types of test automation frameworks for UI and API testing - must
• Proven experience in at least one of the following UI automation frameworks (WebDriver based frameworks / Playwright / Cypress) - must 
• Experience with relational / Non relational databases - must
• Experience with DevOps / CI tools / Cloud (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, AWS or any other cloud provider) - must
• Experience with designing and executing manual and automated tests for billing systems / async operations / micro services architecture - advantage
• Familiarity with non functional testing (performance / usability) - big advantage
