We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our existing testing infrastructure, testing new functionalities, and ensuring that current features perform seamlessly. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on software quality in an innovative and supportive environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage and improve the existing testing infrastructure through careful planning and implementation.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase efficiency and coverage.
• Design and implement comprehensive test scenarios.
• Test newly developed functionalities and monitor existing ones to maintain quality standards.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
• Prepare analyses and reports related to quality assurance processes.
• Actively collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into test plans.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

What You Need For This Role

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and executing manual and automated tests.
• Proficiency with frontend web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with Playwright, Puppeteer, Node.js, Jenkins, Bitbucket, PHP, MySQL, and phpMyAdmin.
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerization tools like Docker, and proficiency with Git version control.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
