About the Job:
As a QA Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Zone's software applications throughout our product development and release lifecycles. Your primary focus will be on testing, identifying defects, and communicating with Product Owners to help deliver high-quality software releases.
Responsibilities:

• During product development cycles, test newly developed functionality to ensure it is functional and meeting documented test case requirements.
• Ensure testing is executed promptly, as defined by management, to keep pace of product development.
• During release cycles, conduct extensive regression testing following established test plans.
• Test cases will include both manual and automated testing, in-app click paths/UI validation, error monitoring, and data accuracy reviews to ensure product standards are being met.
• Document all test results in a clear, thorough pattern, highlighting any errors or blockers & providing detailed information to developers for efficient resolution
• Track and manage issues in JIRA
• Communicate with the QA Manager and/or Product Owner to establish next steps and timelines
• Utilize the Qase platform to manage test tracking, results documentation, and automation
• Participate in team meetings, manager check-ins, and other meetings upon request

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Subject matter expert, superuser, or administrator experience with cloud software products, ideally in the financial/operational space
• Strong analytical skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong English language written communication skills and collaboration abilities

Nice to have:

• Experience with issue tracking in JIRA
• Experience with Qase
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with performance testing of cloud applications
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
