Azul continues to grow and we are actively interviewing Quality Engineers to work with us on developing Azul Intelligence Cloud.

This SaaS product connects millions of JVM runtimes, collects and aggregates detailed information from them, analyzes code use, detects vulnerabilities and provides code inventory.

What You Will Do

• Create test plans, develop all kinds of tests on Java for a cloud system with multiple clients connected, through both API’s and rich UI interfaces
• Run tests, analyze failures and dive deeper to root causes
• Participate in building and improving of quality assurance strategy for the system and processes
• Work together with product management, development and operations to analyze and improve the system’s fit to its purpose

What You Will Bring

• Java coding beyond test development
• Experience in development of quality engineering or system software, automated testing
• Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Basic knowledge of shell scripting
• Basic experience in testing Web applications, Selenium/Selenide

It Would Be Wonderful If You Also Had

• Understanding of JVM internals (Heap/Stack, Classloaders)
• Experience with the Agile and Scrum practices and principles
• Knowledge of Java eco-system (application servers, popular frameworks, libraries, tools)
• Understanding web services with both API and UI regarding architecture basics, networking security, scalability, high load, cloud deployment
• Experience in building and/or testing big data systems
• Specific experience in testing for the purpose of security, certification, high load, high availability, cloud fit, or user experience
• CI/CD experience
