[主な職務内容]
Medical Science Liaison (MSL) は希少血液疾患領域に関連するHCP(メディカルエキスパート)との科学的議論を通じてインサイトを収集し,メディカルニーズの特定とその解決に向けた活動に取り組む。メディカル戦略に沿った以下の活動を通じてPatient Experienceの向上に貢献する。
•KOLとのScientific exchange(科学的議論)
•収集したインサイトの分析とメディカルプラン策定への適切な関与
•関連疾患の認知向上と適切な診断•治療環境整備の支援
•Medical event/Advisory board meetingの企画立案•運営の支援
•MSL主導のMedical Educationや社内セミナーの企画立案•実行
•Evidence generationや医師主導研究への適切な対応
他,Global medical activityへの参加機会あり
[主な疾患領域]
血友病,寒冷凝集素症 (CAD),後天性血栓性血小板減少性紫斑病 (aTTP)
※この他にパイプラインに関連する活動に携わることが可能

Rare Blood Disorders MSL, Specialty Care Medical
[Job Summary]
Medical Science Liaison (MSL) collects insights through scientific exchanges with HCPs (medical experts) related to the rare blood disease, identifies medical needs, and engages in activities to solve them. MSL contributes to improving patient experience through the following activities in line with our medical strategy.
- Scientific exchange with Key Opinion Leader (KOL)
- Analysis of medical insights and appropriate involvement in medical planning
- Support for raising disease awareness and establishing an environment for appropriate diagnosis and treatment for rare blood disorders
- Support for planning and executing Medical Event and Advisory board Meeting
- Plan and execution of MSL-led medical education and in-house seminar
- Appropriate engagement for evidence generation and investigator sponsored study

[Target Diseases]
Hemophilia, Cold Agglutinin Disease (CAD), acquired thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (aTTP)

- • You will be responsible for high-potential drugs in the clinical field (including those in the pipeline) and gain experience in pre-launch and post-launch medical activities, where the role of medical affairs is highly anticipated. (Those with such experience and expertise will have ample opportunities to excel.)
- • As the treatment environment in the entire disease area is rapidly evolving, you can engage in activities aimed at establishing new treatment concepts and environments alongside medical professionals, from a scientific perspective.
- • By addressing unmet medical needs from a scientific perspective, you will be able to contribute to patients, their families, and the healthcare system as a whole.

[Required experience, ability and skill]
- More than 3 years in MSL
- Have a background in natural science
- Understand scientific medical papers precisely and discuss them with KOLs
- Deep understanding of laws and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry
- Business communication skills
- Presentation skills
[Preferred experience]
•Experience working at function of the Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and/or Research
•Practical experience in pre-launch activities in the Medical Affairs
•Work experience in hematology within the pharmaceutical industry (3 years or more)
•Research experience at a university or research institute (3 years or more)
•Business-level English skills (English emails, telephone conferences, support for overseas speakers, TOEIC 700 or higher)
•PhD
