Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?
What You'll Do
Flatiron's real world evidence (RWE) solutions are helping life science companies accelerate oncology R&D, designing clinical trials, facilitating regulatory approvals, and so much more. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading project execution and delivery of analytic services to meet our customers' needs, ensuring they derive maximum value. Acting as the primary point of contact for our biopharma clients, you will lead a cross-functional, client-facing team focused on identifying and delivering impactful RWE solutions throughout the drug development lifecycle. You will engage with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project execution, delivery, and client satisfaction.
In support of Flatiron's new and fast-growing RWE services business, you'll hit the ground running in assisting clients in addressing their most pressing research questions by leading internal cross-functional teams to execute and deliver high-value analytic solutions.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, adept project manager who thrives in ambiguous situations and possesses a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful client outcomes. In addition, you'll:
- Manage a portfolio of 5-10 client analytic projects in parallel.
- Organize and lead internal and external project kick-off and regular status meetings. Keep, distribute, and follow-up on actions from these meetings.
- Create and manage internal and external project timelines.
- Manage client communication and build client relationships by providing high-touch customer support.
- Identify changes in project plans and scope and propose and implement solutions for managing these changes.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders including research scientists, statistical programmers, scientific communications, research oncology and regulatory affairs.
- Lead meetings and engagements with life science customers and communicate progress and decisions clearly and regularly to internal and external stakeholders.
Who You Are
You are skilled in project management and structured communication (both oral and written). You have experience leading teams to deliverables that delight customers. You are excited by the opportunity to join a new and fast-growing business, comfortable working in ambiguity, and ready to hit the ground running. You effectively lead cross-functional teams and value the chance to make an important impact.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years work experience in RWE project management, healthcare consulting or analytic services
- Experience providing customers high-quality deliverables (pharmaceutical clients preferred)
- Experience leading cross functional teams
- Superb project management and communication skills
- Comfort executing in projects in an ambiguous, rapidly evolving business
