Job Description

· Utilize the OS&D report to audit receiving

· Investigate and rectify all discrepancies

· Report accurately all receiving discrepancies including damaged product and over receipts

· Adjust inventory in cooperation with inventory control as it applies to the receiving

department

· Maintain open communication with the purchasing department

· Handle calls from carriers and individual customers related to delivery issues for LTL,

cartage, and small parcel supplies

· Open and close all truck paperwork

· Arrange and coordinate shipments to and from the purchasing department

· Provide support to receivers with new product, UPC and packaging changes

· Schedule deliveries for incoming freight

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Red Prairie and/or similar technologies

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

- High School Degree or equivalent

- Basic Math and Reading Skills

- 1-3 years job related experience, Microsoft Office and distribution software experience
