Position: Receptionist


The Center for Health and Sports Medicine, founded in 2010 with the vision to empower people by promoting a comprehensive and whole-person approach to health through primary care and sports medicine. We are looking for a skilled, energetic, and organized receptionist to join our St Augustine team. You will perform a combination of various administrative tasks including answering and routing phone calls, scheduling patients, messaging providers, greeting and checking out patients, patient information input into our EMR and perform basis upkeep of the front office.


Important skills to have would be familiarity with computers and electronic medical records, personal skills to interact with patients on the phone and in the office, proficiency at typing, time management skills to ensure patients are processed through the office on time, and lastly an genuine interest in working on a team that promotes our vision of care. The position also has the potential for advancement within our company for those looking for opportunity to grow and learn.


1. Manage incoming phone calls for scheduling, patient messaging and billing

2. Schedule appointments

3. Entering patient demographics into EMR

4. Check-in/Check-out patients

5. Collection of copays and patient balances and recording into EMR

6. Manage schedule for providers

7. Scanning, filing, and faxing the documents and preparing them for mail-out.

Receptionist Requirements & Qualifications

  • Answering phone and portal messages from patients
  • Scheduling patients in our electronic medical records system
  • Maintaining office scheduling and efficiency
  • Filing records and documents into the patient record
  • Keeping the front office organized and clean
  • General use of a computer
  • Process payments from patients
