Summary 
The Regional Account Executive will focus on selling Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions to prospects and customers in the defined India territory. This role demands a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, especially within life sciences, and experience with electronic batch records and process flow. The RAE-Mx will actively engage in MasterControl's sales process, leveraging expertise to identify opportunities, demonstrate products, and close deals. 

This role requires collaboration with other sales teams to integrate Mx solutions into existing customer portfolios and expand Mx adoption. A successful RAE-Mx will be skilled in lead generation, strategic selling, and navigating complex enterprise sales environments. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Actively sell MasterControl Mx solutions to assigned prospects and customers within the India region. 
  • Collaborate with Quality Excellence RAEs to attach or expand Mx solutions in customer portfolios. 
  • Provide product demonstrations with a strong proficiency in domain and product knowledge. 
  • Lead generation through cold calling, marketing campaigns, trade shows, and industry association leads. 
  • Follow up on pre-qualified leads provided by Sales Development Representatives. 
  • Participate in trade shows and other relevant events as required. 
  • Accurately forecast revenue using the defined CRM staging process. 
  • Enable and support partner sales channels in the territory to promote MasterControl solutions. 

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Proven track record in multi-level, complex software sales. 
  • Extensive experience in MES, ERP, or LIMS systems within the life sciences manufacturing sector. 
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, particularly ISO and FDA standards. 
  • Experience with digital transformation in manufacturing, especially in pharmaceutical, medical device, or similar industries. 
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including material flow and batch record management. 
  • Expertise in Salesforce and accurate revenue forecasting. 
  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience preferred. 
  • Strong leadership, presentation, and communication skills. 

 

Working Conditions 

  • Must be located in Mumbai, India. 
  • Ability to work non-standard hours when necessary. 
  • Extensive travel required (30-40%). 
  • Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods.
