Job Description
The role of the Regional Project Manager is to represent Avidity Science as a focal point of contact on all project events, both internally and externally, from point of initial proposal/quote requests through final system startup and warranty turnover to the customer.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to request for quotations/proposals from the Sales Consultant, design firms, direct customers and contractors. This quotation/proposal should accurately depict the project, appropriately understand all project related risks, and include the appropriate Avidity Science products.
- Provide technical assistance to Sales Consultant and customers as needed.
- Review construction documents and understand Scope of Work to bid and execute take - offs of the documents.
- Review all Request for Quotation documentation for risk and take appropriate exceptions to protect Avidity Science.
- Prepare and review proposal/quotation and revisions for completeness and accuracy.
- Negotiate final contract price including Terms and Conditions of sale and assess risk acceptance.
- Maintain and build relationships with customers, design firms and contractors.
- Review and negotiate timelines, contracts, purchase orders, change orders, pricing, order entry, scope of work, and system design.
- Manage all project documentation to the customer including scope of work, plans and specifications, O&M and installation manuals, and product data sheets as required.
- Process the return of all approved project documentation from the customer including scope of work, plans and specifications.
- Maintain timely, open, and effective communication with customers, contractors and consultants.
- Coordinate, prepare, and deliver all project schedules, timelines, forecast, and milestones.
- Manage all project material in ERP system for correct ship dates to allow for proper forecasting of managed orders.
- Coordinate and schedule activities related to all material and labor resources, both internally and externally.
- Coordinate turnover meeting to better understand project in the entirety.
- Inform customer prior to site visit of all pre-installation utility requirements not provided by Avidity Science confirming the understanding of the customer and importance of the requirements.
- Prepare pricing changes to scope of work and process change orders as necessary.
- Manage (with peers) Avidity Science Installation resources, including subcontracted resources.
- Release customer invoicing for labor and supervision.
- Review drawings including floor plans, details, electrical / networking schematics,fabrication drawings, etc.
- Provide installation crews with additional material as needed.
- Process WFN (workflow notification) as required.
- Issue customer RMA's and facilitate return of material from job site.
- Facilitate warranty turnover to Professional Services.
- Provide customer with all O&M, as-built, and warranty documentation as required upon project close-out.
- Work with Drafting department to ensure that all as-built documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain the project information in the project tracking software on a weekly basis.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Knowledge of standard manufacturing and business tools, including Microsoft Office.
- In-depth industry knowledge and understanding of customer needs and requirements.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written business correspondence.
- Ability to learn quickly and independently.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Ability to articulate and apply a customer value proposition for Avidity Science solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts, bid plans, schematics, drawings and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret RFQ/RFP documents and identify areas of risk.
- Ability to direct and make decisions with customers and contractors.
- Ability to read and interpret financial data.
- Ability to translate technical product knowledge to both technical and non-technical customers.
- Ability to manage projects to scheduled commitments and budgets.
- Professional level presentation skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in a construction, manufacturing, or engineering discipline or related and 3 years related project management experience, or a combination of both.
