Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
- JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
- 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
- 7 years of experience with legal, regulatory, or corporate compliance, including addressing, minimizing, and avoiding regulatory risk.
Experience advising on global privacy and data protection laws.
- Experience developing, advising, and evaluating programs that ensure products comply with laws, regulations, and external commitments.

As Regulatory Counsel, Privacy, you will join a Global team that provides subject matter expertise and engages with regulators and others to consider the role of privacy law in the changing economy, development of new technology, and passage of new laws and regulations. You will be involved in interpreting laws, partnering with internal stakeholders across the company to mitigate risk, and help communicate our compliance externally.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$319,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Interpret laws and other compliance obligations and advise Compliance, Business, Product, and Engineering teams on requirements.
- Provide legal advice on compliance programs and policies to help mitigate risk.
- Manage government and regulator discussions, negotiations, and disclosures on compliance readiness efforts.
