Backflip is seeking a Revenue Operations Lead to play a key role in optimizing our member growth and revenue generating processes. This individual will enhance and support our sales, marketing, and revenue operations efforts through effective management of our revenue tech stack. This position is remote (U.S.) and reports to the Director of Sales. This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor (~45 person team) working directly with executives in a fast-paced and well-capitalized startup (Series A).

Primary Responsibilities

-Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, and leadership teams to streamline and optimize revenue operations processes

-Fully own HubSpot - including workflows, campaigns, sequences, reporting, integrations, issue resolution and proactively unlock efficiency for across the team through HubSpot

-Identify and implement improvements to enhance effectiveness in lead generation, member engagement, and repeat transactions 

-Administer and optimize the use of sales technologies, including HubSpot, messaging tools, data visualization, and other sales enablement tools to ensure we have the right tech stack in place

-Continually evaluate and create sales processes to support revenue growth and remove bottlenecks across the sales funnel 

-Develop and maintain documentation for revenue operations processes, ensuring clarity and consistency as we continue to grow

-Analyze the customer journey to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and repeat transaction strategies.

-Generate custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance metrics

-Be a champion of Backflip’s culture + Core Values; requires limited travel (e.g. - quarterly off-sites)


-Understand this role is intended to evolve as the company grows, and this person will work closely with the Director of Sales and other members of the team on various tasks that fall outside of the above listed responsibilities 


Qualifications

-Proven experience (4+ years) in Revenue Operations or a similar role, preferably in a B2C environment at a high growth start-up

-In-depth knowledge of HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub, including workflow automation, lead scoring, reporting and dashboard creation.

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets, generate actionable insights and proactively think of solutions to address bottlenecks 

- Zapier experience is a plus! +

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

-Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement

-Able to thrive in a small, relatively unstructured office environment

-Extremely high integrity, dependability, accountability and respect
