We are actively looking for a Merchant Risk Analytics Risk Data Analyst to enhance our in-house case management tool and support a number of strategic initiatives across the Risk Operations Department.

As the Merchant Risk Analytics Risk Data Analyst at Checkout.com, you will be responsible for engaging with various internal stakeholders within the Risk Operations Department, assess requirements and develop applications to enable risk operational teams to review risk events. You will also take the lead in ensuring the overall uptime of the application, while constantly striving to enhance, maintain and perform upgrades.

You will play a critical role in the Merchant Risk Analytics Team, developing applications to effectively manage and minimize risk within the overall Checkout.com portfolio.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Develop and enhance process tools to support the Risk Operations efficiently review and manage the Checkout merchant portfolio

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional, user-friendly tools and applications

• Lead efforts to maintain and improve the overall uptime and performance of the tools, ensuring they run smoothly and meet operational requirements

• Play a key role in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing risk operations through innovative technology solutions

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a focus on developing tools or applications

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing application uptime and performance enhancements effectively.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge or experience using SQL, Snowflake, Dbt, Javascript or HTML would be an advantage
