OPERATIONS

Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted segment that works with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients globally while ensuring that the firm's and clients' assets are protected. Operations partners with other divisions in developing the firm's processes and controls and specifying system requirements to ensure process and control accuracy, timeliness, and integrity.

YOUR IMPACT

Do you have a deep subject matter expertise and a passion for risk management? We're looking for a professional to join our Risk and Resilience team focused on the risk within the Operations area, who can proactively hunt for and monitor risk across the business units they support. The team is seeking a professional to help architect solutions for risk data and deploy them effectively to relevant stakeholders across Operations.

Our division also provides critical operations design and handles core operations to ensure business flows smoothly across our global offices. JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an operation's professional analyst to work within the Risk and Resilience team. Responsibilities include the following:

• Challenge the status quo - challenge, test and enhance the Operations risk and control framework to further enhance the control environment and drive progress in efficiency of our processes.
• Partner with colleagues across divisions around the globe, while contributing to and managing various programs
• Represent Risk and Resilience on forums to ensure accurate reflection of our functions, controls, and frameworks.
• Conduct reviews to identify risks in Operations' processes for which there are currently no mitigating controls in place.
• Assess the design and performance of key controls.
• Develop the strategy for risk review and perform data analysis to identify patterns / trends and risk themes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

This role requires an energetic self-starter that can liaise with various Operations teams both regionally and globally. We are looking for a candidate who has:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Proactive and self-starting individual with high level of ownership
• Risk Management - Awareness and understanding of Operational Risk
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with an ability to understand complex workflows.
• Results orientated - ability to balance multiple, time-sensitive projects while maintaining a longer term, strategic focus.
• Flexibility and ability to learn quickly.
• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills essential
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence business stakeholders and help make decisions.
• Strong attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• SQL and Alteryx skills
• Awareness of current economic and market trends impacting the financial landscape.
• Drive and Motivation - Successfully handles multiple tasks, takes initiative to improve his/her own performance, works intensely towards extremely challenging goals and persists in the face of obstacles or setbacks.
• Judgement and Problem solving - Thinks ahead, anticipates questions, plans for contingencies, finds alternative solutions, and identifies clear objectives. Sees the big picture and effectively analyses complex issues.
• Creativity/Innovation - Looks for new ways to improve current processes and develop creative solutions that are realistic and have practical value.
