This position can be based in Penang or KL/Selangor.
- Responsible for selling Agilent services products to end-user customers.
- Represent Agilent’s products and services, for generating existing and/or new sales to assigned named accounts or assigned geographic, territory, industry, or accounts list.
- Responsible for generating existing and/or new sales leads and business opportunities.
- Handle complex leads, qualified and convert to sales.
- Develop and maintain positive ongoing long-term relationships with customers.
- Manage existing accounts, drive organic growth, and develop new accounts with key performance indicators of growth in existing accounts and new business.
- Responsible to meet and exceed sales target by driving growth in sales achieved though customer engagement and consultative selling, showcasing the entire service portfolio.
- Responsible for all sales-oriented activities, planning and organizing daily work schedule to existing and/or potential sales enquiries.
- Works on sales assignments with broadly defined objectives.
- Maintain and build relationships with existing and new customers to ensure high level of service satisfaction and identification of potential new business opportunities
- Identify sales prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service product offered.
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to provide consultative advice to sales prospects to achieve sales objectives.
- Manage daily sales-oriented activities such as sales discussion, presentation, order bookings, and other documentation.
- Utilization of SAP CRM for updating the funnel and reporting.
- Timely respond to calls/emails.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent, ideally to have experience in the Life Sciences and/or Chemical Analysis industry.
- Minimum 4-5 years sales account management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills both spoken and written.
- Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Energetic and independent individual, driven to achieve results and able to interpret customers' needs and work to meet those needs.
- Enjoy working in a customer-facing environment.
- Must be a team player.
