Sales Analyst

Trade Marketing - New York (hybrid)

COTY is looking for smart leaders who are fast and passionate.

THE ROLE

This role will be representing COVERGIRL and RIMMEL. The role will support the Trade Marketing team reporting to the Director of Trade Marketing.

The primary responsibilities of the Sales Analyst are to support the Trade Marketing team in analyzing past and current business trends, analyzing competitive actions, and mining future sales opportunities to drive business growth on the CoverGirl and Rimmel brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage weekly sales, monthly reports and competitive reporting
  • Nielsen reporting
  • CoverGirl and Cosmetics analytics
  • Assist in creating display programs and project management
  • Support Trade Marketing Director in pricing recommendation and P&L
  • Analytical support and preparation of Line Review presentations
  • Support additional analytical requests

QUALIFICATIONS

We'd love to see candidates who have:

Essential:

  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational/time management skills.
  • Proficient in the following systems: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Additional systems knowledge: experience with syndicated and panel data (IRI and/or ACNielen)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with data from multiple sources, interpret and communicate the data into a compelling narrative with actionable conclusions
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2+ years of business experience in a related field and/or CPG. Experience with Nielsen preferred.

Desirable:

  • Beauty experience
  • E-Commerce familiarity
