Who are we?

ArrowStream is an innovative SaaS business and member of Buyers Edge Platform that's changing the way food service businesses optimize their supply chain.

This position is remote with anticipated travel at 25%. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

As an ArrowStream Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading and running the entire sales cycle. You will drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new and fast-growing businesses with direct clients. You will also work closely with internal & external partners to drive new business. You will interact with new and current clients, gain referrals from them, and form strong trusted relationships that open doors and close deals. You will maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions, contending offerings, and current penetration of services and solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in selling and influencing enterprise solutions, an understanding of solution selling, and must be a closer. We are searching for a passionate, professional, and impactful seller with supply chain, food service, and SaaS solutions experience.   Must accustomed to working in a fast-paced, nimble company and driving each sale to a close

Your impact:

  • Identify new sales opportunities across key channels to increase sales volume
  • Sell into C-level, VP, and Director level suite  
  • Apply ArrowStream’s sales process methodology, solution selling, to drive new direct and cross-sell opportunities with ArrowStream portfolio companies
  • Lead customer engagement from lead generation to deal review, negotiation, and closing
  • Create compelling proposals, generate sales, and drive revenue
  • Plan and manage sales performance, forecasting, and revenue generation
  • Understand the food service market needs, supply chain, and SaaS technology mechanics
  • Achieve short- and long-term sales growth by increasing cross-selling activities within existing and new accounts
  • Develop and maintain opportunity pipeline in Salesforce
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of ArrowStream, portfolio companies, and competitive solutions
  • Work with Marketing Team to support industry marketing programs for brand development, market awareness, positioning, and demand generation
  • Work with implementation team for pre-sale support
  • Work with internal sales solution consultants
  • Use detailed, comprehensive industry knowledge and experience to develop and support prospect/customer strategies and advise and support team members and project partners

About you:

  • Must be proficient in Salesforce
  • Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Online Meetings
  • Must understand how to work on contracts with in-house legal
  • Must know how to negotiate deals, contracts, and service levels
  • Knowledge of sales pipeline management, and sales and revenue quotas
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license with the ability to rent a car
  • The role requires someone who can work independently to manage their quota and sales pipeline growth
  • Must have hunter experience with advanced close capabilities (backed up by resume)
  • Experience in working in a team environment, knowing when to collaborate with marketing, implementation, account management, and solution consultants
  • Ability to craft and position business results-oriented proposals
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our customer's business needs
  • Strong communication skills, including presenting on general and industry-specific topics
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, relationship building & advanced closure, and driving sales in a solution-selling environment at the C-suite level
