Abodea is a fast-growing proptech startup based out of Salt Lake City. We're revolutionizing the way rental management works, and we're seeking innovative people looking for massive growth opportunities. We're continually growing and our team has work experience at companies like Podium, Disney, Bain and Company, Walmart, Inc., State Farm, and PwC, with alumni from The University of Chicago and BYU. We are looking for a high-performing candidate to help us drive our revenue growth targets as we continue to disrupt the industry. You will be responsible for conveying Abodea's value to our customers, maximizing our sales team potential, and crafting sales plans to help us meet our growth goals. Responsibilities

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Create new sales strategy and process for new product verticals and service offerings
  • Help shape our sales process as we continue to expand our customer base nationally
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing the deal
  • Report directly to executive leadership to help drive our revenue growth strategy
  • Collaborate with all levels of leadership by presenting sales and revenue outcomes
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully selling personally and managing the sales team
  • Design and implement strategic business plans that expand our customer base

Requirements

  • Desire to influence the company sales strategy overall and have measurable impact
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar sales role, consistently meeting or exceeding targets (SaaS experience a bonus)
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with new prospects
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Willingness to directly prospect potential customers, including cold outreach
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
