We’re actively seeking a talented Sales Process Strategy Leader to join our Consumer Markets Sales Intelligence team in Newport Beach, CA.
As a Sales Process Strategy Leader you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by establishing a matrixed team to drive sales process strategy and go to market efforts. You will partner with various teams including Marketing, Sales Leaders, Sales Enablement, Technology, Product Intelligence, and Strategy to optimize and drive an effective sales process. You will fill a new role that sits on a team of 35 people in the Consumer Markets Division. Your colleagues will include sales support leaders and/or fellow marketing, technology, and product professionals.

How you’ll help move us forward:

Thought leader in go to market strategies with a focus on products/tools. Help form a holistic approach with lens towards seller/buyer experience.

Own sales tools strategy. Partner with various teams (marketing, training, product intelligence) on deployment, messaging, positioning.

Partner with training/concierge/E-consultant(s) to help drive adoption across sales tools tech stack

Tools include ICapital, FIDx, LUMA, Firelight, Ensight, Seismic, etc.

Lead effort to improve sales force capabilities that optimize user experience with goal of driving sales results. Partner with SF COE, Opty Mgt VS Lead, Portfolio Mgt team and Process improvement team (Noran K), as well as other stakeholders to shape SF user strategy and corresponding tactical execution.

Champion and drive advisor segmentation including territory execution strategy; Focus advisors, drive zone recommendations, and key monitoring tools.

Partner with sales enablement leader (Angie B), SF COE, and SI team on shaping and identifying solution needs for sales cadences. This includes cadence streams, integration of NBA, and identifying appropriate tools that will enable efficient FW/IW/Advisor experience.
The experience you bring:

10+ years distribution experience in the financial services space with a focus on annuity/life third party distribution.

4yr Degree College Degree.

Self-driven with ability to work independently and with minimal guidance.

Strategic thinker(innovator) with strong communication skills.

Comfortable working at all levels of the organization.

Strong familiarity with tech stack needed to support sales process and advisors.

Familiarity and working knowledge of Sales Force.
-
Strong understanding of various platforms used by Broker Dealers and Advisors, including iCapital, FIDx, eMoney/MoneyGuide Pro, LUMA.

Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products

Ability to lead by influence and not necessarily through a traditional organizational structure. Strong decision making with a keen focus on delivering outcomes.

Experience driving agile delivery programs with diverse scope while regularly re-evaluating for value alignment, ROI, etc.

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$175,860.00 - $214,940.00
