The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a dedicated and high energy Sales Representative to maintain and advance our local Laboratory Sales efforts. This role will be a full-time position based in New Brunswick. You will have the opportunity to consultatively sell Avantor's large portfolio of products and services to a diverse group of current and prospective clients. Il s'agit d'un poste à temps plein basé dans Nouveau-Brunswick. Vous aurez l'occasion de vendre de façon consultative le vaste portefeuille de produits et services d'Avantor à un groupe diversifié de clients actuels et potentiels. What we’re looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree within sciences or equivalent, or applicable experience required.

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a complex, dynamic sales environment, where multiple people are involved in the purchasing decision and there is a solution-based approach.

  • Business-to-business sales experience preferred, especially distribution experience, scientific background and/or having work in a laboratory or research environment.

  • Excellent people skills in communicating and collaborating with customers, manufacturing reps, management, team members and internal specialists.

  • Ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.

  • Ability to work independently and successfully manage time and territory.

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to sell strategically within an account.

  • Ability to understand individual customer operations.

  • Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, with preference for experience in Salesforce or Qlikview.

  • Bilingual French/English, oral and written is required.

  • Holder of a valid Driver's License in good standing.

  • Willingness to travel to customer locations minimum 3 days a week.

  • Canadian Sales associates are required to travel to the United States for annual sales conferences and occasional training sessions.

  • Successfully manage a territory consisting of diverse customers across various markets by providing Avantor solutions and implementing sales strategies to optimize sales revenue growth and gross profits.

  • Prospect and establish new customers by managing a sales pipeline and developing and delivering proposals to customers by illustrating Avantor's value proposition.

  • Expand Avantor's role with existing customers by developing retention strategies illustrating Avantor's value proposition in conjunction with evolving customer requirements.

  • Sell consultatively, detailing products, determine customer needs and requirements, and make recommendations to both prospects and customers of the various solutions Avantor can offer their business.

  • Build and sustain relationships with customers and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Leverage available resources to effectively implement company marketing plan, strategies and sales processes.

  • Work in conjunction with sales management team, providing proposals and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales growth.

  • Work directly with local manufacturer representatives to develop and continually improve product knowledge, arrive at most favored pricing, and improve account profitability.

  • Demonstrate Avantor’s mission and uphold the Avantor Code of Conduct.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • 1 Ă  3 ans d'expĂ©rience dans un environnement de vente complexe et dynamique, oĂą plusieurs personnes sont impliquĂ©es dans la dĂ©cision d'achat et oĂą l'approche est basĂ©e sur les solutions.

  • Une expĂ©rience de la vente interentreprises est prĂ©fĂ©rable, en particulier une expĂ©rience de la distribution, une formation scientifique et/ou une expĂ©rience dans un laboratoire ou un environnement de recherche.

  • Excellentes aptitudes relationnelles pour communiquer et collaborer avec les clients, les reprĂ©sentants des fabricants, la direction, les membres de l'Ă©quipe et les spĂ©cialistes internes.

  • CapacitĂ© Ă  mener une conversation commerciale avec des chefs d'entreprise et des dĂ©cideurs.

  • CapacitĂ© Ă  travailler de manière indĂ©pendante et Ă  gĂ©rer avec succès son temps et son territoire.

  • Excellentes compĂ©tences analytiques et capacitĂ© Ă  vendre de manière stratĂ©gique au sein d'un compte.

  • CapacitĂ© Ă  comprendre les activitĂ©s de chaque client.

  • Connaissances informatiques, y compris Microsoft Office, avec une prĂ©fĂ©rence pour l'expĂ©rience de Salesforce ou Qlikview.

  • Le bilinguisme français/anglais, Ă  l'oral et Ă  l'Ă©crit, est exigĂ©.

  • Titulaire d'un permis de conduire valide et en règle.

  • Les associĂ©s commerciaux canadiens sont tenus de se rendre aux États-Unis pour assister Ă  des confĂ©rences commerciales annuelles et Ă  des sĂ©ances de formation occasionnelles.

  • GĂ©rer avec succès un territoire composĂ© de divers clients sur diffĂ©rents marchĂ©s en fournissant des solutions Avantor et en mettant en Ĺ“uvre des stratĂ©gies de vente afin d'optimiser la croissance du chiffre d'affaires et les bĂ©nĂ©fices bruts.

  • Prospecter et Ă©tablir de nouveaux clients en gĂ©rant un pipeline de ventes et en Ă©laborant et en prĂ©sentant des propositions aux clients en illustrant la proposition de valeur d'Avantor.

  • DĂ©velopper le rĂ´le d'Avantor auprès des clients existants en Ă©laborant des stratĂ©gies de fidĂ©lisation illustrant la proposition de valeur d'Avantor en conjonction avec l'Ă©volution des exigences des clients.

  • Vendre de manière consultative, en dĂ©taillant les produits, en dĂ©terminant les besoins et les exigences des clients et en faisant des recommandations aux clients et clients potentiels sur les diverses solutions qu'Avantor peut offrir Ă  leur entreprise.

  • Établir et maintenir des relations avec les clients et veiller Ă  leur satisfaction et Ă  leur fidĂ©litĂ©.

  • Tirer parti des ressources disponibles pour mettre en Ĺ“uvre efficacement le plan de marketing, les stratĂ©gies et les processus de vente de l'entreprise.

  • Travailler en collaboration avec l'Ă©quipe de gestion des ventes, fournir des propositions et mettre en Ĺ“uvre des stratĂ©gies de vente pour atteindre une croissance des ventes.

  • Travailler directement avec les reprĂ©sentants des fabricants locaux afin de dĂ©velopper et d'amĂ©liorer continuellement la connaissance des produits, d'obtenir les prix les plus avantageux et d'amĂ©liorer la rentabilitĂ© des comptes.

  • DĂ©montrer la mission d'Avantor et respecter le code de conduite d'Avantor.

  • Effectuer les autres tâches qui lui sont confiĂ©es.
