SAP Personnel Security Specialist

Job Summary
Special Access Programs Security is dedicated to providing quality leadership, services and solutions to the enterprise. As a Personnel Security Specialist, you will be supporting multiple Special Access Programs from different government customers. Your duties will include maintaining a large portfolio of SAP briefed individuals.

This position will be located onsite in El Segundo, CA
What You'll Be Doing

• Utilizing the government system of record to perform SAP PERSEC functions
• Administering the SAP PERSEC Nomination process by processing Program Access Requests (PAR) and preparing SAP Nomination packages.
• Providing security escorting for uncleared personnel as required.
• Annual PSQs validations
• Collecting and uploading PSQ Templates
• Providing and recording annual training
• Processing and tracking foreign travel requests.
• Providing Security indoctrinations and debriefings, uploading SAPIA forms.
• Cross referencing DISS to ensure accurate packages are submitted.
• Processing incoming and outgoing visits
• Assisting other CPSOs in other security disciplines
• Preparing for PSO inspections

What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements for Level II:

• Thorough knowledge of multiple DOD and service security references, regulations, and instructions pertaining to SAP PERSEC, especially DODm 5205.07 Vol 2.
• Active TS Clearance, with the ability to obtain SAP and SCI Access
• 1-3 years of experience in Security Administration for Special Access Programs
• Experience in Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Strong communication, briefing and technical writing skills
• Strong working knowledge JADE

Minimum Requirements for Level III:
All of the requirements listed for Level II in addition to -

• 3+ years of experience in Security Administration for Special Access Programs

How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

• Bachelors, degree from an accredited program in Security, Business Administration, or other related field
• 5 years of experience supporting government classified SAP programs
• CPSO, GSSO, CSSO, SSO or SSR experience
• CDSE Certification

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.

$41.12 - $53.02 - $64.91
