Eaton's ADMIN Administrative division is currently seeking a SCM Materials Planning Mgr.

This position is a Manager role at PCD Haina team. A SCM - Planning Mgr. is key in our company's effective planning processes.This position is responsible to manage planning & Customer
Services workstreamlines that will enable to achieve customer expectations, ensuring accurate levels of inventory; in compliance with Supply Chain team as well as maintaining an effecient and
balanced MPS.
Job Responsibilities
1. Ensure availability of equipment and materials in sufficient type and quantities to meet production requirements.
2. Effectively communicate, interface, and coordinate interplant activities for the areas of Materials, Customer Service, and Manufacturing.

3. Manage and control department expenditures in conjunction with proposed budget.
4. Develop department procedures, guidelines, and objectives.
5. Obtain cost improvements and cost reductions through process or method improvements.
6. Assist in the planning and installation of new lines in conjunction with manufacturing and engineering. Participate in plant lay out definitions.
7. Responsible for the material planning.
8. Perform specific functions to this position describe at the Quality Manual.
9. Monthly feeder material planning:
a. Feeder parts: SIOP, Forecasting, daily planning, and procurement budget.
10. Bimetals y Handles: Planning of all plant's sub-assemblers withing the plant.
11. Develop the processes, tools, and lead implementation of SIOP steps and steer the process across the product manufacturing footprint.
12. Monitor, recognize, analyze, and recommend solutions based on sales and demand profile. Influencing decisions and investments based on forecast demand volumes and mix.
13. Allocate the incoming demand across the manufacturing resources based on business objectives, including OTD, lead times, mix, capacity, and cost.
14. Translate key commercial initiatives (Projects, New Product Introductions, Promotions) into demand plan with detailed cross-functional actions and manage ownership and execution of
critical items.
15. Drive continuous improvement of business SIOP and production scheduling processes to deliver on-going improvements to maturity and results.
16. Plan and follow up the Non - Stock and replenishment orders, based on the plant capacity and Load Plan. Provide control and order performance, to deliver products to the customer on time.
17. Manage all customers orders expedites and response accordingly in coordination with the Manufacturing Team. Analyze and monitor reports of Back Order and Non Stock (Over Due)
Control on a daily basis.
18. Manage all customers orders expedites and response accordingly coordinating the Customer Service team and Shipping Supervisor.
MESH Responsibilities:
1. Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator.
2. Assist to all EHS training assigned

Qualifications:
Education level required
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electric, Mechanical, Mechatronic), Business Administration,
- International Business; or related fields
Years and area of experience required
- 7 years of experience (required as MOP minimum 3-5 years)
Technical knowledge
- Bilingual: English/Spanish
- Computer applications knowledge: Microsoft Office: Excel (pivot / analysis), AS400, Vista, SAP
Preferable:
Vista/ Mapics, PBI,
CPIM certification as a plus (APICS modules)
Strong analytical skills (projections / regressions)
Prefer:
- Electronics Products knowledge
- Knowledge of Lean Tools and 6 Sigma.
- Knowledge of MRP, MPS, Inventory control and purchasing.
- Preferable experience at the manufacturing area
Soft skills
- Negotiation skills (suppliers & customers)
- Strong communication skills to be able to deliver "hard messages" to different levels of stakeholders
- Effective delegation and follow up process within team (BOC).
