Location for this role:Shanghai, China

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Agile practitioner to join our global team as a Scrum Master.

Scrum Masters are key leadership positions in a global organization and part of the Agile Excellence Chapter.

Scrum Masters;

  • Guide the Squad/ Agile Team focusing on creating high value releases within committed time
  • Partner with Product Owner to ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Coach and ensure that the Squad/ Agile Team gains efficiency, increase performance and autonomy by understanding and applying OLM, and drive change management
  • Make sure a Squad/ Agile Team lives the values and practices of Agility with mindset of embracing Change, be transparent and practice inspect and adapt relentlessly
  • Facilitates (and be primarily responsible for) all the Squad/ Agile Team's rituals and key events such as Sprint planning, Squad/ Agile Team updates ( Daily or Weekly standup/ loop-in meeting/ Collaboration/ Short interval meetings etc.), Review & Retrospection
  • Maintain execution of backlog within the agreed timebox in compliance with the OLM Milestones
  • Keeps the PPM updated with latest info on Epic and data quality.
  • Provide progress status and escalate impediments on a regular basis
  • Identify, escalate, and help find resolutions to Squad/ Agile Team impediments
  • Drive the decision-making process and Risk Management for the Squad/ Agile Team

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
2 years of product or project development experience would be advantageous
Strong facilitation techniques
Ability to build and lead Squads in a matrix
Promotes Agile values and principles
Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
Knowledge of an Agile Framework (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), and knowledge of at Agile at Scale frameworks (i.e. SAFe, Scrum at Scale, Nexus)
Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery Squads
