In this role you will be part of the Project Rene team building out the next generation game and creative platform. Project Rene is a Mobile + HD cross-platform that allows players to play The Sims alone or with friends, without barriers, for the first time ever. Explore the dramatic lives of your Sims in the most accessible, dynamic Simulation to date. Players can create characters, customize furniture, design apartments, and more using accessible tools. You will be reporting to a development director (DD).

Location: Remote North America - open to most North America locations

As a project manager with Maxis, you will support the product owners and development directors in running efficient agile process, driving the team to achieve execution towards Project Rene's goals.

Responsibilities:

• Work with production partners to ensure goals are communicated early to establish confidence in milestones and sprints.
• Track sprint and milestone deliverables to meet project goals.
• Run sprint processes and ceremonies; standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Run JIRA backlog generation and grooming.
• Work with your product owner and development director partners to resolve dependencies with other agile teams
• Communicate with development director and central teams to update JIRA workflows as process changes are identified by the team.
• Create sprint reports and update documentation.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years project management experience with some type of Agile project methodology.
• Experience with JIRA; set up sprints, task generation, linking, and workflow management.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.

The hourly pay ranges represent in good faith what applicants can expect to be paid for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

$38 - $58

Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):

$35 - $58

New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):

$41 - $58

Jersey City, NJ:

$35 - $47

Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):

$35 - $51
