What we're looking for:

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our rapidly expanding product development team. This role is primarily responsible for testing customer solutions built using Zinier platform and products. The primary focus of this engineer will be to build test plans and troubleshoot failures in existing applications.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Creating a detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Experience:

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Testing experience with Android, iOS & Web
• 3 to 7 years Testing experience with APIs
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Understanding both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like selenium
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Nice to have experience in SQL
