Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Analytics & Tools (Multibox)

CastleGate is Wayfair’s supply chain service offering that enables our suppliers to boost sales by using our world class end-to-end e-commerce supply chain. Our supply chain services allow our partners to forward position products close to customers, resulting in fast-delivery with low outbound ship costs and minimized incidence rate. 

The CastleGate Product team is part of the larger Network Management organization. We own the CastleGate fulfillment product and work with our commercial and operations strategic stakeholders to develop new solutions and offerings for our suppliers and customers. Within the CastleGate Product team, you will work on the Multibox team, which is a product and service Wayfair offers to suppliers for any item in our catalog that ships in more than one box. The scope of Multibox spans the entire global supply chain—product, merchandising, positioning, forwarding, fulfillment, transportation, customer experience, incidents and returns, finance, etc.—with exciting opportunities to tackle complex challenges and build a best-in-class Multibox offering.

What You'll Do

• Develop and improve metrics, dashboards, and tools for the team. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure these tools meet business needs.
• Use coding and analytical skills to identify the root causes of underperformance in Multibox. Provide data-driven insights and solutions to prevent future issues.
• Help size problems and build business cases for strategic decisions.
• Analyze data to find trends, issues, and gaps, and use these insights to inform business strategies.
• Become an expert in Multibox data. Work with technology and analytics teams to set clear requirements for improving Multibox systems and technology.
• Collaborate with technology teams to find long-term solutions that enhance Multibox integration with platforms like Partner Home, WIMs, and WFN.
• Maintain and update internal documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key workflows and processes.

What You'll Need 

• Experience in business and data analytics, with strong skills in Excel and SQL/Google BigQuery.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to find root causes and implement solutions.
• A self-starter who is eager to learn independently, particularly in coding and technical skills, without relying on direct instruction from the manager.
• Ability to prioritize projects, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders and technology partners.

An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy:

All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
