Job Description

Astucemedia is searching for an experienced Senior AR 3D Designer Data Visualisation & Graphics (3D Data Visualisation expert). As part of our Creative team, the Senior Graphic Designer is a 3D expert responsible to develop and design creative data visualisation concepts on multiple 3D platforms to show and tell the story behind the data. The Senior graphic designer has a strong ability in 3D visual solutions, including infographics for virtual environments and real-time data graphics.

In your role, you’ll significantly contribute to collaborating with our creative team to find resourceful solutions for our client’s needs (Broadcast, Museum & Immersive Entertainment). Astucemedia is looking for a candidate with a unique eye for design, knowledgeable about latest trends in 3D visuals and design, and who is a source of boundless innovative ideas and concepts, for multiple platforms.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop data visualization expertise within the group of designers to be integrated to VS and XR
• Coach and design the layout and structure of analytics visual solutions supported by domain (sports, finance, weather & elections)
• Optimize and discover new design solutions
• Present creative data visualisation concepts: you must be able to design the concept in a 3D space and clearly communicate the idea and the story.
• Collaborate in the conceptualization phase for different projects, including creation of visual case studies and visual storytelling.
• Collaborate with the creative team in the creation of data visualisation graphics.
• Create design for multiple platforms such as Unreal, Vizrt or any 3D realtime platforms (360° approach).
• Excellent verbal creative communication skills
•  Robust graphic design skills and experience: 5+ years in agency or media company is preferred, but structured, methodical, and experienced freelancers will be considered
• In-depth experience in data visualization best practices and essential graphics theory
• Interest and understanding for data in sports, finance, elections, weather or climate change 
• Experience with Augmented Reality Graphics and Virtual Set
• Understanding real-time graphics
• Portfolio clearly demonstrating corresponding skillsets
• Highly motivated to work in an open team environment, putting forward continuous improvements, and where trust is a fundamental pillar.
• Demonstrated experience in hands-on analytics designing and data visualization.
