Get to Know the Team

Grab's lending business (GFSA – Grab Financial Services Asia) is a recent addition to Grab's array of product and service offerings focused on extension of Micro credit to drivers, agents and merchants in Grab's ecosystem.

Get to Know the Role 

We're looking for a Senior Risk Associate who will manage consumer portfolios including designing risk strategy leverage on eco system data, automating the credit risk decision processes and conducting risk analytics to uncover insights. You will also work hands-on implementing end-to-end risk strategies for new programs. You will report to Head, Country Credit Risk, Thailand. This is on-site working based in Bangkok.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will implement the credit risk framework for PAX(Passenger/Users), DAX (Riders) and MEX (Restaurants/Merchants)
• You will review and validate policy performance, uncover insights or identify targeted areas for improvements
• You will help automate the credit decision process including Credit Decision Engine Deployment project and designing credit decision flow for partnership programs.
• You will support Portfolio forecasting, loss provision and risk budgeting. Including present to leadership team.
• You will work with the leadership team to define credit risk strategy for all lending products
• You will work with Data Science team to build and test credit, account management and Collection models
• You will Set credit strategy and policy to improve business growth
• Improve Collection performance by operational, policy and modeling improvements
• You will Set credit and account management strategy

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You have experience writing credit memos and credit decision and strategy documentation
• You have experience in Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL)
• You have experience growing a lending business and hands-on experience in credit strategy
• You have familiar with Statistical Modeling
• You have minimum 5 years relevant experience, with focus on retail credit risk
• You have experience in data query/manipulation using Python/SQL and data visualization
