Senior Automation Engineer - Wireless

CO Salary Range: USD 96,250.00 - 158,125.00 per year

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively work on BPA and NSO platforms, developing new services that automate standard procedures and manual configurations while improving and troubleshooting existing ones
• Develop new microservices to enhance network security and efficiency by automating manual procedures
• Provide coaching and mentorship to other engineers, focusing on the effective use of SDNC tools and best practices in feature development
• Lead code reviews and merge requests, ensuring consistency and adherence to company standards
• Maintaining Closed Loop Automation (CLA) processes for automatic incident resolution between Vitria-BPA

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Over 7 years of experience working on automation teams, particularly within the telecom industry, developing applications and microservices that automate manual processes to enhance network engineer efficiency

Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with Python, TypeScript, JavaScript (HTML/CSS), and PHP
• Proficient in Flask, Angular, Serverless Framework, Laravel, Docker, and Camunda for process orchestration
• AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, and ECR, and AWS serverless environments
• Database Management: Skilled in managing databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL (MariaDB), MongoDB
• Ability to mentor teams, particularly in adopting best practices in coding and automation development

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $158,125.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
