Job Description

We need a senior backend developer highly skilled in .NET and databases. Help us maintain and grow ESP-x our mainline product! We seek people who are enthusiastic about code quality helping teams grow and nurturing more junior developers.

What You Will Do

  • Design develop and maintain a world-class renewable energy management system handling tens of gigawatts of power worldwide.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
  • Optimize and scale our backend infrastructure to handle increasing demand.
  • Ensure the security performance and reliability of our applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

About You

  • You have proven experience as a Backend Engineer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • You are highly skilled in .NET and database management.
  • You have a strong understanding of database management (SQL and NoSQL).
  • You have experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
  • You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • You can work independently and as part of a team.
  • You have a 4-hour overlap with CET/CEST time zones as our teams are globally distributed.
