Job Description

The Team

Within the Core Product department, the Industry team builds a strong relationship with rights owners like Warner Music, Sony Music, Universal Music or Believe, people who produce your favourite tracks ! Deezer for Creators is the interface between Deezer and artists, managers, labels and providers.

Your mission

• Work on Deezer’s Industry portal : Deezer for Creators (and more …)
• Define long term Backend architecture, partnering with other backend experts and implement it
• Work closely with Tech Leaders, Frontend engineers, QA and Product Managers
• Ensure product quality by tackling bugs and requests from the customer care team

Qualifications

This role is ideal for someone with:

• 5+ years experience as a Backend Engineer
• Strong knowledge of MySQL & REST APIs
• You already apply PSRs and SOLID principles
• Apply TDD and develop unit test is a habit
• Good organizational and communication skills, be proactive
• Ability to work autonomously and to maintain a strong sense of priorities 
• Good experience in engineering best practices (code versioning, tests, reviews ..)
• Comfortable with kubernetes apps and docker environments
• A first experience with behat is a plus
