These engineers often struggle to make informed decisions about their robots when things aren’t working correctly, and have to hack together solutions in-house.

Our platform ingests data from a wide range of devices (such as cameras, lidars, radars, batteries, motors, and more), and then allows engineers to analyze and transform it. It’s AI. It's robotics. We’re looking for a senior backend engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing groundbreaking new services to power the search and analysis of sensor data.

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of full-time experience, ideally ex-growth startup
• Experience building and operating large-scale web services 
• Experience managing large SQL / NoSQL database clusters
• Experience with vector search and analytics technologies
• Experience with Python (required) and C++, Go or Rust (a plus)
• Experience with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies
• (Bonus) Experience building developer tools or machine learning products
• (Bonus) Experience with multi-modal robotics data formats (e.g. ROS, PX4)
