Sentara Health Plan is hiring for a Sr Business Analyst/HEDIS/SQL!

This is a Full-Time position, remote, with day shift hours and great benefits!

Will travel to Richmond, VA approximately 1x a month.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the implementation and support of quality initiatives within assigned areas. Provides subject matter expertise related to quality initiative implementation, reporting and analysis. Is a liaison between internal/external customers and Information Technology for business definition, scope, testing and implementation to ensure quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and customer knowledge to improve business practices

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree REQUIRED

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Analytics, Healthcare and Project Management REQUIRED

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's PREFERRED

• Familiar with HEDIS or other quality measures

• Experience in Healthcare/Managed Care Organization (MCO), especially work with Medicaid, Medicare, Exchange, SNP, and Commercial populations

• Familiar with state/NCQA/CMS quality measure requirements

• Monitor, track and trend of interventions for 90+ HEDIS measures owned/managed by lead across the organization

• Familiar with regulatory and NCQA required survey such as CAHPS, HOS, QRS enrollee sample frame, or case management survey

• Immediate analytics skills such as familiar with Excel, Powerpoint and SQL (preferred), and able to pull data from various databases

For applicants within Washington State, the following hiring range will be applied: $74,911.20 to $107,889.60/annually.
