Senior Business Analyst with Molecular Biology

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Molecular Biology to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be adept at translating complex data into actionable insights and possess a deep understanding of sequencing principles and bioinformatic tools. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to support strategic decision-making processes and enhance business operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex biological data sets to provide strategic insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions
• Develop and maintain analytical models to support decision-making processes
• Transform NGS data formats for comprehensive analysis
• Read and interpret bioinformatic tool documentation to understand main principles and tool purposes
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior analysts on the team

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst
• Degree in Biology or significant experience in Molecular Biology
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinking capabilities
• Competency in translating complex data into understandable models
• Understanding of sequencing principles including Sanger and various NGS technologies
• Knowledge of NGS data formats
• Familiarity with bioinformatic tools and their uses
