Summary of Job:
The Sr. Case Manager – Channel Liaison will be responsible for working within the Patient Services team to manage day-to-day communications with the Specialty Pharmacy partners. The Sr. CM – Channel Liaison will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure case progression and alignment across internal and external teams.
Essential Functions:
- Facilitate communication between the internal Patient Services team and Specialty Pharmacies regarding case progress and updates
- Facilitate Site of Care identification and triage to the Channel Management team based on defined processes
- Establish best practice ways of working with Specialty Pharmacy partners and Channel team in accordance with contracts and internal policies
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings with Specialty Pharmacies to manage cases in a timely and efficient manner as defined by KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Ensure ways of working are adhered to by internal and external teams
- Helps manage internal Patient Services team caseload including
- Monitoring case-level updates by other team members to ensure adherence to Patient Services standards
- Provides real-time feedback to other team members to support process requirements
- Identifies trends regarding reimbursement, and process challenges across Specialty Pharmacies and escalates to Channel and/or Market Access teams accordingly
- Support decision-making related to Patient Services collaboration with Channel and Specialty Pharmacies
- Builds and maintains compliant relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, market access, and specialty pharmacies to support the patient’s treatment journey
- Follows all requirements associated with compliance with program guidelines and relevant regulations, including HIPAA and patient privacy
- Participates in regularly scheduled team meetings; recognizes opportunities for improvement, brings solutions to any barriers
Job Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience
Experience
- 5+ years of industry experience in pharmaceutical or biotech Patient Services
- Case Management experience required
- Experience working with Specialty Pharmacies required
- Rare disease experience required
Technical Skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
