Overview
Our team is looking for a Senior Creative Lead, Copywriter, in the Consumer Marketing Creative Studio, with a highly profiecent background in copywriting to be a part of the Consumer Marketing Creative Team. In this role you will deliver best-in-class creative as part of the in-house creative marketing team with the goal to shape people's perceptions of the brand and inspire them to engage. The Creative team is responsible for all the brand's marketing activities to consumers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) partners, etc.
The Senior Creative Lead, Copywrite is responsible for staying aware of current trends and conversations, with the ability to interpret those into creative marketing; social-first led ideation. This person should also be able to bring innovative ideas and executions that cut through the clutter and bring a unified Microsoft voice to all executions/mediums.
The Senior Creative Lead, Copywriter will liaise directly with the internal production teams to provide creative feedback and oversee internal creatives as well as external creative agencies and vendors in the production of creative assets (where applicable). This person will have communication and presentation skills to liaise with leadership throughout the organization, and have the ability to clearly articulate a creative idea and how it applies to pertinent aspects of the business.
In order to be successful in this role you'll need to be able to work both at a high level in addition to jumping in and being hands on. You should be comfortable working with Art Directors and Designers to not only build presentations to represent your ideas but to also be comfortable enough giving feedback within design and having the ability to pull relevant examples, mood boards, etc.

Responsibilities
- Generate compelling, innovative marketing assets for the MSFT brand and products (Copilot, M365, Edge, Bing, Windows, Surface)
- Work alongside internal teams, agency and production partners to develop marketing campaigns
- Concept and work with art directors and designers to create visual identities for both campaigns and individual 360° executions
- Supervise and edit audio sessions
- Work with external agencies and vendors to produce creative
- Effectively build and manage relationships with internal marketing stakeholders
- Work in close partnership with senior leadership to provide creative that is both strategically and creatively exceptional
- Liaise regularly with marketing team to ensure creative is strategically aligned across all platforms and is on time
- Find ways to push what Microsoft is doing across all brands
- Proven ability to concept and execute breakthrough campaigns

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience working either agency-side or brand side
- 3+ years experience copywriting for social media work and film/scripts
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
- OR Master's Degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience concepting and executing breakthrough campaigns for brands
- 3+ years experience working directly within creative software (Figma, Adobe suite, MSFT products, etc)
- Experience creating copy guidelines and tone of voice for Brands
- Social media work and film/script writing experience
- Ability to juggle multiple projects through all phases of production
- Comprehension of social marketing strategy and 360 campaign development
- Understanding of storytelling/narrative structure, pacing, graphics, music, shot selection and all key aspects of audio-visual content.
- Portfolio of creative work (including written and visual content)
Integrated Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
