Gogo Business Aviation is searching for our newest Senior Cybersecurity Engineer! We are seeking a solid security individual who will be responsible for planning and implementing security measures to protect computer systems, networks and data in a fast pace and exciting technology organization. The successful candidate understands and incorporates methodologies in order to anticipate and prevent security breaches. Deep understanding of technical knowledge as well as business and regulatory requirements is a must!

How will you make a difference?
- Lead privilege access management program to include workforce password management and local administrator privileges
- Advise development team on security practices such as encryption and key management, and manage secure keys and certificates
- Develop security architectures for Gogo products
- Oversee operational management of Gogo's endpoint security management program in accordance with operational procedures
- Perform incident response and forensic analysis for endpoints that show evidence of malicious activity
- Complete vulnerability scans and penetration tests of Gogo products in development
- Analyze the results of scans looking for root-cause and significant exposure
- Prioritize remediation and develop remediation plans
- Provide support to development teams on understanding specific vulnerability risk/impact
- Guide development teams toward risk mitigation/reduction
- Be proficient with Nessus and Tenable.io vulnerability management solutions, as well as related analysis tools
- Have deep skills in Web Application Dynamic and Static analysis solutions
- Advise development team on security practices such as encryption and key management
- Interface with Managed Security Provider to optimize Security Information and Event Monitoring Solution
- Keep up to date with information security news, techniques, and trends
- Document and perform support tasks
- Conduct daily health checks as documented by the Cybersecurity team
- Execute performance analysis of the security systems and processes at Gogo
- Participate in change management, incident management and business continuity processes
- Plan and implement security policies and procedures to protect computer systems, networks and data from unauthorized access
- Recommend security enhancements and tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Systems
- 8-12 years of experience in the system and network security areas
- 1+ year experience as a technical lead
- This is a hybrid role and you must be willing to be in the Broomfield office 2 to 3 times per week
Required Skills, Talents & Experience
- Must be familiar with standard security concepts, practices and procedures
- Team lead experience and SOP development
- Knowledge of Linux & Windows operating systems
- Experience with security tool sets (ELK Stack, SumoLogic, OSSEC)
- Understanding of Cloud infrastructure providers such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
- CyberArk or other PAM solution implementation and administration experience
Preferred Skills, Talents & Experience
- Exposure to penetration testing platforms such as Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Metasploit, Nexpose
- Skilled with network security tools such as Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco VPNs, Palo Alto IDS
- EDR solution deployment experience
- Understanding of regulatory compliance (NIST CSF, SOX, ISO)
- Professional IT security certifications (CEH, Pentest +)
- Strong Documentation and communication skills
- Positive attitude & ability to grasp new technologies
- Has worked with scripting languages such as Python
- Ability to work with cloud tools such as Github, Spinnaker, Kubernetes, Docker

Base Pay:
112,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
