Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $77,800.00 - $116,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

JOB SUMMARY
This position will serve as a Senior Data Analyst supporting our Customer Experience Operations organization. This role will play a key role in providing analytical support and thought leadership to a variety of stakeholders and high-visibility projects. Applies critical thinking, problem solving, data visualization techniques, and analytical acumen to a variety of tasks to accurately deliver and succinctly communicate answers and recommendations to important business questions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Functions as a data & analytics Subject Matter Expert supporting both ongoing customer operations as well as new projects and programs involving our key stakeholders.
- Works with assigned business partners to understand business objectives and priorities and help connect these goals with underlying data.
- Attends collaborative cross-team meetings; provide input; elevate issues, and guide stakeholders to arrive at the important requirements & metrics.
- Utilizes SQL queries or Python scripts to locate, compile, analyze and interpret myriad of operational data sources and may write code to automate the final solution.
- Proficiency in Python programming language to assist in data analysis and automation tasks.
- Creates and effectively visualizes key performance metrics via Tableau or Power BI dashboards tailored to the unique needs of a particular project.
- Develop presentations and read-outs by identifying the key insights, connecting those insights back to the business, and providing recommendations for acting on those insights.
- Assists in preparing content for the Monthly Operations Review to help detect trend shifts across different KPIs and the underlying root cause driving the change.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies in analytical procedure or cross-functional methods.
- Analyzes current and historical performance, performs variance analyses of key metrics, and identifies trends.
- Meet established timelines and committed tasks during each sprint cycle.
- May be responsible for facilitating meetings and presentations to senior leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum
- BA/BS degree in a related discipline (i.e., Business, IT, etc.) with 4 years' experience spanning multiple analytical disciplines (e.g. reporting, statistics, data modeling, data analytics, data visualization, data interpretation). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field.
- 3+ years successfully developing and curating large data sets using a variety of tools/techniques (e.g. SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau Prep Builder, etc.).
- 2+ years successful experience developing advanced analytics solutions (e.g. predictive models, anomaly detection models, correlation models, etc.)
- Ability to write efficient and reusable Python scripts to manipulate and analyze data from various sources using NumPy and/or Pandas.
- Successful candidates must know how to intuitively assimilate, manipulate, and visualize large quantities of data in a visually appealing and easily consumable manner.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with leadership and supporting multiple stakeholders.
- Skilled analytic and diagnostic skills utilizing a data-driven and metrics-driven approach.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills with a proven history of influencing outcomes and gaining alignment.
- Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic and virtual environment.
- Proven ability to work in a cross-organizational team environment collaborating with the business leads on key analytical deliverables.
Preferred
- Experience working in communications industry with a focus on telecommunications, data, cable.
- Deep understanding of Cox operations and corresponding customer-oriented data.
- Prior consulting experience.
