We are currently seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer to work the cutting edge power & renewables forecasting engine.
Enverus and its subsidiary PRT have been a leader in load demand and renewable energy forecasting for the past thirty years. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world's most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.
What will you do:

• Interacts with and develops new services and pipelines using Python and C#
• Troubleshoot performance issues and devise solutions
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Work on neural networks, either directly or paired with data scientists
• Mentor junior team members
• Read undocumented legacy code and participating in a new design with knowledge learned that way.

What you should have:

• +5 years of software development experience
• Experience working with data-rich applications and pipelines
• Proven success in delivering highly reliable and scalable software systems
• Experience building backend applications using Python and C#
• Experience sourcing and normalizing data from multiple providers
• Experience with Kafka and SQL
• Prefers working under test-driven development principles (TDD)
• Experience with Docker, Understanding of CI/CD
• Experience with AWS as a cloud provider.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform), Familiarity with Kubernetes and Prefect
