Team & Role

This role is part of the Content Operations & Experiences team (COE), which empowers the Digital Content & Design (DCD) organization with tools and resources to create and manage content experiences. As a member of the Analytics team within COE, you will provide comprehensive analytics to make data-driven decisions which help build delightful and trusted content experiences that make our customers successful. You will work closely with product content management, content architects, writers, editors, product development, design, user research, program management, product content engineering and other partners to develop and deliver analytics products and insights.

With a combination of exceptional analytical skills, an insatiable curiosity, and an entrepreneurial "get stuff done" mindset, you'll help us better understand our users, customers, partners, and products, and drive important changes that will shape the future of ServiceNow.

What you get to do in this role:

• Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and processes to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Build and optimize data models and schemas to enable efficient storage and retrieval for business intelligence use cases.
• Maintain and enhance database performance to ensure reliability and accuracy in business reporting.
• Automate manual data processes to achieve seamless and faster month-end, quarter-end, and annual business reporting.
• Collaborate across multiple data teams to meet analytics and engineering deliverables.
• Support the creation of datasets and infrastructure needed for dashboards, visualizations, and advanced analytics.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of data pipelines and storage systems.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Must-Have):

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or related areas.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Solid understanding of database technologies, including Snowflake and SAP Hana.
• Experience in automating manual data processes and improving performance and efficiency.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple deliverables to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):

• Experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with modern web development languages or frameworks (Java, JavaScript, NodeJs, ReactJS, AngularJS, etc.).
• Knowledge of SaaS and subscription business models.
• Understanding of agile project management and best practices in data engineering.
