Job Description

ARHS Group – part of Accenture is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with a proven track record in developing generative AI applications, for one of its clients in Brussels, a key player in the Financial Industry.

As a Data Scientist, you will need to have expertise in various aspects of Machine Learning. This role offers the opportunity to apply and enhance your skills across multiple domains.

Role & responsibilities

• Tackling various business challenges by creating AI applications (virtual assistant & more) aimed at enhancing client experiences, empowering employees with superior tools, and automating and optimizing internal processes.
• Utilizing a range of analytical methodologies (generative AI and predictive AI), including large language models (Prompt Engineering, RAG, Fine-tuning), speech-to-text, LLM agentic applications, image generation and interpretation, and classical statistical/machine learning techniques. (While we don't expect you to be an expert in all areas, you should possess strong expertise in core technologies and the ability to learn new methods as required.)
• Demonstrating extensive experience in programming with Python and contributing to deploying AI applications in production using a comprehensive stack of tools.
• Communicating the fruits of your work directly to the top management.
• Accessing one of the richest volumes of varied data in the market and applying your skills to it.

Qualifications

Your profile

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics or engineering. Other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge in English and Dutch or French
• Team player

• Good analytical and synthesis skills
• Autonomy, commitment and perseverance
• Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment

Technical skills

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Data Science and Analytics.
• Good knowledge of Python, deep learning and pre-trained models
• Knowledge of Domino, git, genAI framework (langchain, haystack) would be considered an asset
• Knowledge of GenAI Application for Finance would be considered an asset
